For those of you who may not know, April is National Autism Awareness Month—a time to promote autism awareness and appreciation. When we saw National Autism Association’s Facebook post from a young boy named Benjamin, it was officially time to grab the tissues.

His mother shared: “My 10 year old son with Asperger’s was asked to write a poem for school titled ‘I Am’ he was given the first 2 words in every sentence. This is what he wrote…”

Welling up yet? We thought so. We're so appreciative of what he's shared with the world! To learn more about autism, check out National Autism Awareness Month’s website.

P.S. We wish we had even half of Benjamin’s amazing poetry skills.
