Welcome aboard the best summer program for kids obsessed with outer space, airplanes and life at sea! The program kicks off with Basics of Boot Camp, when young recruits find out if they have what it takes to be an Intrepid crew member through drills, obstacle courses and relay races. Throughout the rest of the summer, they cover navigation and maps (Sailing the Ancient Seas), explore international ports of call (Passport to the World), learn espionage techniques (Spy Science), space science (Hubble and Beyond!), engineering and physics (Submerged: Science of Submarines), and more. Those with a need for speed especially look forward to Wednesday afternoons, when they take a tour of the harbor, including a loop around Lady Liberty on Circle-Line’s Beast speedboat. Ages 5–13.
