Intrepid Kids Week

The West Side vessel sponsors six days of kid-friendly activities (conveniently during students' midwinter break), each with their own theme. The 2016 program is all about extreme environments; kids and families will learn about the different climates and habitats in our universe through workshops, live shows, demonstrations and craft projects. Study the stars in the pop-up planetarium, build your own space station and take in an awe–inspiring demo featuring live birds of prey. Special guests will include astronauts, scientists, engineers and children's book authors. Ages 5 to 17.
