Bronx Zoo Summer Series

Little animal lovers can visit with the giraffes, gorillas and more at the Bronx Zoo, then stick around for jam sessions with some of NYC's top kid-friendly performers. Gather in Grizzly Corner (right near the bears!) to hear upbeat tunes from Josh & the Jamtones (Aug 15, 16), quirky pop songs off the new solo album by Danny Weinkauf and His Red Pants Band (Aug 22, 23) and hits from Nick Jr.'s multi-genre group Hot Peas 'N Butter (Aug 29, 30). Over Labor Day weekend, catch a performance by The Pop Ups, complete with puppets, dancing and collages (Sept 5, 6). All ages.
