Lads are set loose on a slew of outdoorsy games at this boys-only sleepaway camp
in Connecticut. With so many offerings, trying something new could be a daily occurrence, whether it’s wakeboarding on Bantam Lake, mountain biking on nearby trails, piecing together an original video or braving the bungee trampoline. Campers pick up their fair share of survival skills in the breathtaking wilderness setting, but with special events like rock concerts and magic shows popping up throughout the summer, they won’t really be roughing it. Coed get-togethers with the girls at Awosting’s sister location, Camp Chinqueka, provide a chance to mingle and make new friends—plus, there are chances to face off in fun competitions to see which gender prevails. Ages 6–16.
