Time Out says

Celebrate your kid’s birthday with
the art of Harlem and northern Manhattan at this beautiful and affordable uptown haven. A birthday party at Sugar Hill Children’s Museum allows admission for 12 children and 8 adults to enjoy the multimedia installations, dynamic photographs, painting and drawings—all created by local artists. Guests can also attend public scheduled storytelling shows and participate in the museum’s opportunities to create their own artwork. Parents are welcome to bring refreshments and treats to serve in Sugar Hill’s party room, and for an additional fee ($150) they can add activities such as art projects inspired by the exhibits or a performance from a professional storyteller about the neighborhood’s history. Ages 1–8.
