Tuesday is Children's Flu Vaccination Day!
Mon Dec 8 2008
OK, so it’s not a happy holiday—or even a holiday at all. But tomorrow, December 9, is an important day. The folks behind Families Fighting Flu, a nonprofit org founded to raise awareness about the potentially devastating effects of influenza, are teaming up with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to remind parents that kids six months and older should get vaccinated. And guess what mom and dad? You should too. We know you felt that chill outside this morning, just like we did. Keep the whole family healthy this winter.
The CDC’s got a list of places where you can get the vaccine in all five boroughs. No health insurance? No problem. Those without coverage will be given the shot free of charge.
