Two weekend events not to miss

Dust off your kid’s cultural cap and head to Times Square this weekend. The New York Times is hosting Arts and Leisure week. We know, doesn't sound like a kid-friendly good time, huh? Give us some credit. We scoured the lineup and found two events your family won't want to miss. Visit artsandleisureweek.com to purchase tickets and see the full schedule.

Naked Brotheres Band

On Saturday at 10am, Times TV reporter Jacques Steinberg, interviews Alex and Nat Wolff—the tween fraternal band-mate duo who star in the Nickelodeon show, The Naked Brothers. The bros will talk about fame, friends, and of course, music. Bonus for you: Their real-life parents (who also star on the show) will take your questions, too. Note: This event is sold out, but you can try your luck at the door, one hour before the session.

Then, on Sunday at 10am, see several of the smallest stars on the Broadway stage. Kids from Mary Poppins and The Little Mermaid will perform after Disney producer and author of How Does the Show Go On?, Thomas Schumacher, talks about how a big Broadway musical gets to the stage. Tickets are still on sale for $25.
