Music lovers are in for a special treat this weekend as the Greenwich Village Orchestra plays its at the Washington Irving Auditorium. Expect to hear such orchestral classics as excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, Copeland's "Rodeo" and Mozart's "Variations on Twinkle Twinkle," plus plenty of additional holiday standards during the show. Families are encouraged to stick around post-performance for a free reception where adults can enjoy refreshments and budding musicians can try their hand at playing the instruments themselves.
