Gone are the days of trying a limited range of Hoka shoes at stockists around town. With the opening of Hoka's first brand store at ION Orchard, you can now try on its full range of walking, running, outdoor, and lifestyle shoes.
Chunky and ugly – that's how Hoka shoes rose to prominence. Whether they really are an eyesore is subjective, but many can agree that Hoka shoes provide exceptional cushioning and stability. Founded in 2009 by French runners, the brand is particularly known for its MetaRocker feature that helps wearers shift efficiently from heel to toe. The effect is much like walking on clouds.
Hoka's first concept store in Singapore is inspired by its birthplace on Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps – so look out for nature-inspired features like mountain profiles, rock-shaped seating and trail demos, weaved in with urban landscapes.
Hoka promises that its full range will be available at the Singapore store, so keep your eyes peeled for favourites like the everyday-appropriate Clifton, performance beasts like the Mach, and trail running kicks like the Speedgoat 5. Hoka's all about comfort, so do ask for a 3D foot scan with its proprietary SafeSize technology to get the absolute perfect fit. The store will also stock fitness apparel, lifestyle products, and accessories.
The Hoka Brand Store is now open at ION Orchard, #B4-27, from 10am to 10pm daily. To find out more, visit HOKA.com or follow @hoka_sg.
