The latest news from Jerry just came in – the newest season of well-loved cartoon series Totally Spies! will feature scenes of Singapore such as the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer. It has been 10 years since the finale episode of the previous season.
If you’re wondering who Jerry is, he is the founder of World Organization of Human Protection (WOOHP), a secret organisation in the French anime-inspired cartoon series, Totally Spies!. And the main characters leading double lives as his secret agents are none other than the trio Sam, Clover, and Alex – three high school girls from Beverly Hills, California, whose strong bond and stylish outfits are central to the show.
The season seven trailer that was released on May 12, 2024, unveiled Singapore as its ‘newest location’, featuring the iconic skyline of Singapore overlooking landmarks such as the Marina Bay Sands, ArtScience Museum and Singapore Flyer. The storyline was also hinted at by the spies' new boss, Zerlina, who mentioned that there are "strange and frightening creatures all over Singapore."
Totally Spies!'s season seven premiered on May 12 on the French TV channel Gulli. However, there has been no announcement yet regarding its international airing on Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids, or Netflix. For those that are excited to catch the new season, stay tuned for more updates.
