Needless to say, we don’t need any more foreign franchise joints opening up here. Unless, of course, they’re good ones, which this hip, kid-friendly diner undoubtedly is. The fact that it’s from Korea, offers off-kilter beers (Hite, 500ml, $15) and has its own bakery only adds to its credibility quotient. Service has a face too, and the burgers come stacked high and super-fresh. The KB++ ($14) comes with egg and bacon rashers that don’t oversalt the show; the pattys, if not enormous, have a pleasingly smoky, charcoal-ed, from-the-grill richness. Chilli-cheese fries ($8) are the side of choice here.
Burgers from $11.
