Time Out says

Café Margaret, hailing all the way from South Korea to Singapore, has finally set foot on our shores, situated along the lively streets of Bali Lane.

As you enter the two-storey establishment, you’re greeted by a cottage core-esque interior decorated with cute teddy bears, vintage tea towels and fancy gold picture frames of old photographs – reminiscent of a quaint kitchen straight out of a nostalgic 1980s English cooking show or your beloved grandmother's cosy abode. The charming and unfamiliar ambiance of Café Margaret also makes it an ideal spot for gram-worthy snaps.

Staying true to the Korean bakery café tradition, the bakes are lined up on inviting tables for all to choose from. But first, remember to proceed to the second floor beforehand to secure yourself a seat. After which, grab a plate and select your desired sweet treats before making payment.

Everyone’s there for their signature Cube Pies which is essentially 72 layers of pastry condensed into a cube shape with inner filling. Choose from five different flavours – matcha cream ($8.30), nutella ($7.80), real vanilla ($7.80), lotus cream ($8.30) and their best seller Injeolmi ($8.30). Not to be overlooked, the menu also offers an assortment of cookies and pound cakes, all priced at a wallet-friendly sub-$8 range.
Accompany your sweets with an iced latte ($7.20), or if you're in the mood for a refreshing sip, opt for the cooling iced peppermint tea, available at a pocket-friendly $5.50.
