Time Out says

This 15-seater hole-in-a-wall sits like an unassuming crevasse in Far East Square. But instead of stumbling into an ice-cold glacier, you’re much more likely to be greeted by the warmth from congenial baristas and the comforting aromas of coffee beans. From cosy earth tones hugging the walls to chestnut wood furnishings and beautiful ceramic trinkets on latticework display, the space exudes a raw sense of approachability.

You’d expect a minimalist approach to variety but in hopes to cater to everyone, this tiny nook has got quite the appetite for ambition. Those looking for a simple caffeine fix can settle with the house coffee beans which are a blend of darker roast beans from Brazil and India. Your cup (from $4.20) will drink of chocolate and nuttier notes finishing with subtle bitterness. But if you’re looking to treat yourself or perhaps yearn for a friendlier pour for the camera, go with the signature decadence of creamu (from $6.90) – a whimsical riff on the trendy Einspanner coffee.

Not feeling coffee? There are quirky alternatives of wine-inspired tea blends (from $6) such as a riesling white tea and the refreshing summer blossom – a mix of elderflower and earl grey. Pair your drinks with the croffle ($5), a buttery chewy croissant with a shatteringly crisp sugar glaze on the crust. Other heartier versions include stuffings of maple bacon, spicy tuna, ham and cheese and the trusty egg mayo.
