Veering away from mock meats and greasy bee hoon, italian-inspired Sufood promises a clean-tasting palette in their meat-free offerings. Its full eight-course meals start at $25, from which you can choose between main dishes: wild mushroom charcoal tagliatelle, macaroni alfredo casserole, or golden baked star-shaped pizza. Appetisers include a trio of white water snowflake greens, cherry tomato jelly, and poached Japanese Yuca root drizzled with blueberry coulis for appetiser. For desserts, choose between sesame panna cotta or banana cheesecake. The 150-seat diner is the Taiwanese vegetarian chain’s first outpost, and Sufood plans to open eight more outlets over the next five years in collaboration with Singaporean brand Putien.
Sufood opens 28 May 2014.
