Bright, vibrant and chirpy, this new multi-label store evokes a fun and carefree vibe with a spunky array of basic apparel, accessories and shoes so colourful that you won’t know where to look first. It’s split down the middle into a men’s side and a women’s side, stocking everything from footwear, sunglasses, watches, jewellery, Common Thread tees and even umbrellas by international brands like Thread 365, K-Way, Allegrina and Hoola (which are new to Singapore). There’s also an extensive selection of Havaianas footwear (the store doubles as the new official ION outlet for the brand).
We liked their range of funky footwear in particular, such as the pretty ballet flats by Allegrina (from $69.90), cool hand-dyed sneakers by Bensimon (from $59.90) and Swappeez’s funky sandals (from $38), which come with interchangeable straps, buckles and accessories for you to switch things up whenever you feel like it.
We’re also fans of German design brand Donkey’s novelty items – especially its quirky Hipster Guide Book ($19.90). Other notable accessories include Piesa’s cloth-covered metal woven bracelets ($34.90) – perfect for adding an edge to any outfit – and Coloud’s striking headphones ($65) for music lovers. Look out for the unique customisation bar by the cashier counter – you get to personalise your footwear with badges, pins and coloured laces ($2/item, four items maximum each visit). Benita Lee
