In the span of 50 war-stricken years, he loses his home, friends, love, and his beloved shop in Galilee. But through the grief, he trudges on with hope in his heart, and weaves a beautiful story of perseverance and strength. Based on the acclaimed biography by Adina Hoffman, Taha is beautifully brought to life by Amer Hlehel, who eloquently brings us through the protagonist’s journey of becoming a globally celebrated poet – all while poignantly exploring themes of displacement and one’s sense of self-identity.
