The Bin has had numerous imitators, but this is the original - a funky hole in the wall, where the music throbs, the tables are tight and the flavours rock 'n' roll. Executive chef and owner Gord Martin, a former heavy-metal singer, catalysed Vancouver's craze for small plates (larger than traditional tapas). The prices have gone up in recent years, but it's still great value. Drinks are limited to a selective list of wine and beer. No reservations.
