This is the original Vancouver Chinese cuisine heavyweight and pioneer of using local seafood in Cantonese style preparations. A surprisingly good wine list meets the needs of a heavily seafood-focused menu bristling with flavour. Try the king crab in season, or whole fried fish. Service is polished and friendly in a large modern room that may be a little worn around the edges, but still buzzes with Chinese families and, on weekends, ladies announcing the specials on their dim sum carts.

My family and I went to this restaurant and had a reservation for noon. We were not seated until 12:30 and were constantly given the run-around, saying that it would be 5 more minutes, 8 more minutes, soon we would be seated, soon.

We had to pay for our parking so having to spend money to pay for parking to wait in the waiting room of a restaurant we had a reservation in was quite annoying, especially since we had a reservation. Finally after being sat down I talked to someone about basically what the restaurant could do for us because we had to wait even though we had a reservation. The supervisor said that he would give us "free tea" except that the tea is almost always free at these places. We received the bill and it was $74, a fair price for the food that we ate.

My father gave them $80 and we waited for the bill. My father decided oh well, I'll just make it their tip got up and left. I waited and spoke to the person who took our bill and asked for our change (again, the supervisor). He pretended he did not understand, and then when I said well, our bill was $74 and we have you $80, we are still waiting for our change, he said no, $74 plus the tea is $84.

This restaurant does not care about it's customers and sees them as nothing but cash. They like to lie to people saying that they will give them "free tea" when the tea is always free, and then will then try to lie to you about math.
