201: Intermediate Projects Evening Classes W/ Erin Cunningham

Mondays + Wednesdays, February 16 - March 11, 6-10p Spend this weekend advancing and refining your jewelry skills. This course will reinforce what you've learned in Introduction to Jewelry 101 or for those who have experience. Practice more elaborate ways to set stones and build your soldering confidence. Continue to develop your fabrication skills in sterling silver. Project 1: Pendant - Set an irregular shaped cabochon in a heavy wall bezel, learn how to create custom chains and mechanisms (bails, clasps, etc.) Project 2: Ring - Hollow Form Ring Project 3: Earrings - Set angled stones in heavy wall bezels, tube set faceted gemstones and create your own mechanisms This class will also cover surface treatments, popular patinas, finishing your pieces to reflect a professional caliber. Prerequisite: Intro to Jewelry, Intro to Soldering, or previous fabrication/soldering experience. Tuition: $495 + $100 Kit Fee - Payment Plans Available
