I'll Go To Texas (The Cherokee Years) is the story of one young woman's coming of age under harrowing circumstances. She is kidnapped in the middle of the night by a fierce Cherokee warrior. Follow her transformation from a young, immature frontier girl to a mature, intelligent survivor who learns what it takes to not only survive, but to thrive in a culture she knows nothing about.

When Anne Odom retired a few years ago, she had three things she truly wanted to do. Learn to play the piano, write books, and grow beautiful flowers. Well, two out of three isn't bad. She found she had no talent for the piano, but she does have quite a green thumb. This is her sophomore novel, but she has three more in the works as well. Anne lives in Texas with one of her sons and his family and the two family dogs, Coco and Rasta.
