Austin Lumber Society Presents: Fire Building 101

Troopers Assemble! We will be meeting to learn one of the most essential skills known to mankind, the art of Fire Building. We will be working with Grey Cowan, an instructor at Earth Native Wilderness School. He is an expert at Wilderness Survival, and Level III Certified in Wildlife Tracking. As we discuss different methods of fire building such as Bow Drill, there will opportunity for members of each Troop to practice on site. Although we can not accommodate everyone, you will learn fire building basics in multiple environments.
