Blackshear Bridge says
Howdy neighbors. Want to help prep and plant a beautiful legacy wildlife habitat garden with your friendly Habitat Stewards this Sunday? Free Micklethwaite BBQ at 3 PM! Blackshear Bridge and Wildlife Austin habitat stewards are putting in flowering vines and under story butterfly and bee trees and shrubs at Austin's African American Cultural Heritage District (AACHD) event space in the back yard of their new headquarters opened this year at 1512 San Bernard St in 78702. Bring gloves, hat, sunglasses, and mosquito repellent. We'll supply tools, water, and delicious dinner from local 78702 vendor friends. RSVP here or to hello@blackshearbridge.org This is short notice but you know, spontaneity is an organic quality we hope you will admire. Thank you to Native Plant Society of Texas plant providers Ed Travis and Jackie Davis! And to star volunteer Julia Heskett.
