Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage month this May at the AARC's CelebrASIA Austin! This year's food theme: coconut! Featuring the AARC's second annual Battle of the Asian Food Trucks, plus cultural performances, kids' activities, games, educational food booths, artisan marketplace, community outreach fair, heritage showcases and more! FREE admission and activities. Food and items available for sale.

11:00am Kona Isle Ukulele Choir
11:30am Food Demonstration: The How-to's of Coconut
12:00pm Tropical Productions Interactive Hula and Drumming
12:30pm Food Demonstration: Judges' Coconut recipes + Meet & Greet
1:00pm Cultural Performances presented by the NAAO - Network of Asian American Organizations
2:45pm Food Truck Battle Winners announced
3:00pm Event closes

Ongoing: Heritage Showcases, Merchant & Community Outreach booths, kids activities including moonbounce, crafts and balloons, plus food available for purchase from Asian Food Truck Battle competitors Chaat Shop, Oyama, Kung Fu Kitchen, Thai 2U, as well as sweet treats from SATAY Restaurant, Frozen Rickshaw and coconut water from Curry in a Hurry.
