Join Campus Events + Entertainment Mexican American Culture, Distinguished Speakers, the League of United Latin American Citizens and Latino Community Affairs for the César Chávez Legacy Dinner.

César Chávez was a Mexican-American farm worker, labor leader and civil rights activist. He was a unique and humble leader, as well as a great humanitarian and communicator who influenced and inspired millions of Americans from all walks of life. As a common man with an uncommon vision, César Chávez stood for equality, justice and dignity for all Americans. His universal principals remain as relevant and inspiring today as they were when he first began his movement. His birthday, March 31st, is César Chávez Day and serves a reminder to his amazing legacy.

*Dinner will be provided for the first 250 UT students, faculty and staff that RSVP.
