Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce says
Are you a minority business enterprise/MBE? Learn about programs just for you: attend the MBE Certification 101 workshop by the City of Austin's Small & Minority Business Resource department. This workshop is for small business owned, managed, and controlled by minorities and/or women who wish to work in local, state, and federal government contracting.

After the workshop, there will be a round table networking session with public agencies and businesses looking for minority businesses to do business with. Learn what their needs are and develop important relationships with these organizations and prime contractors. Ask questions and get more information about submitting proposals, subcontracting, etc.

You don't have to attend the certification class to come to the round table networking session. Vendors participating include Texas Dept of Criminal Justice, Texas Dept of Information Resources, Texas Facilities Commission, Texas Dept of Public Safety, UT System HUB Development, UT System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction, AISD, CapMetro and more.

Program
1:30 - 3:00 PM MBE Certification workshop
3:00 - 5:00 PM Round table Networking Session

Free but please register to let us know you are coming.
