Join the Texas Latino Education Task Force for a day of advocacy and action at the Texas Capitol to make our voices heard on important issues facing our community, including:
- Equitably funding our public schools;
- Rejecting privatization schemes
- Eliminating punitive high-stakes testing;
- Investing in more bilingual teachers;
- Promoting culturally relevant curriculum; and
- Protecting in-state tuition for all Texans regardless of status
Note: Breakfast/lunch provided in Room E1.610- available throughout the day.
