The LBJ School of Public Affairs says
As a part of an overall diversity initiative at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, the Student Diversity and Inclusion Committee will be presenting a free screening of the film Dear White People and hosting a discussion panel April 1, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Lady Bird Johnson Auditorium to begin generating dialogue on the complex challenges of social equity and racial equality in America today.

Written and directed by Justin Simien, this 2014 critically acclaimed satire follows four black students at an Ivy League college and explores racial identity in American society today.

This film is Rated R for language, sexual content and drug use. Viewers under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Limited free parking is available after 5PM in Lots 38 and 39, the LBJ Libray and LBJ School parking lots, located on the southbound side of Red River Street, between Dean Keeton and Manor Road. Additional self-pay parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the Manor Garage, conveniently located just south of Sid Richardson Hall at 2017 Robert Dedman Drive.
