Dying Consciously Workshop April 23 24, 2016 says
In our culture we do not remember how to allow people to die, only how to prolong their lives. We spend tens of thousands of dollars extending a worn and weary life instead of celebrating and honoring that person and the transition that is inevitable. In indigenous cultures the tribe members recognize a person is dying and they sit with them listening to their stories. They do ceremony with them to help them transcend their regrets, pains and allow forgiveness. They all gather to hear the “I love you’s”. They then clear and prepare their energy fields to make the transition as easy for them as possible. In short they accept death and help make the transition respectful and their exit conscious.

The Dying Consciously workshop is a weekend (Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am-4:00 pm) designed to give the living an experiential understanding of the dying process. It has two main purposes: One is to teach a set of practical skills that will clean and clear the dying person’s energy field to prepare them for their final Spirit Flight, and the second is to develop compassion for the dying process by going through a gentle version of it yourself. This is a workshop for the family members and loved ones of a dying person and for those who care for and steward people through to the other side in their final hours such as doctors, nurses, hospice workers, pastors and priests. It transcends the boundaries of all races and religions because it is not focusing on what happens after death, only how to go through it as compassionately and respectfully as possible.
