The Dialogue Institute - Austin Chapter says
“Why struggle to open doors between us when the whole wall is an illusion?” – Rumi

In the current world of strident rhetoric, it is vital we work together in the spirit of earnest compassion, cooperation and community service. We must act with a deep sense of urgency to broaden our impact across all levels of society. For it is we who are tasked with creating a world where doing good must be our only competition.

The keynote speaker this year will be Edina Lekovic. For 15 years, Mrs. Lekovic has served as a leading voice on the American Muslim community. She oversaw MPAC’s government, media and Hollywood engagement as well as leadership development programs. She has appeared on leading media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, the History Channel, NPR and Buzzfeed.

In 2015, she was named one of 10 LA women gamechangers by Los Angeles Magazine. In 2009, she was named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world by Georgetown University and the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre. Edina is also a co-founder and board member of NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change, which was named the top interfaith program in California by Gov. Brown in 2013.
