Taking the best of care techniques from all the movement and massage world learn to care for your aerial/pole body. Pre-hab, not rehab will keep you in the sustained in the air over a life time and minimize aerial pains. We will use the floor, the wall, aerial apparatus, therabands and our friends to stabilize and strengthen the back, arms, grip, shoulder, rotator cuff. We will address lat use, scapular engagement and then we will stretch and release muscles, learning the difference between the two; increase range of motion and finding a balance between strength and flexibility. This workshop will give you the tools you need to keep your aerial body happy, healthy and strong. You can expect faster recovery times and faster recovery times. Workshop will include handouts. Please feel free to take notes, and pictures and videos (with the permission of your classmates). Please bring: A notebook and pen foam roller lacrosse or tennis ball Theraband(s) Price: $35
