Movie Moxie Inaugural Show

PLEASE NOTE THE NEW START TIME OF 7pm!!! ~~moxie – n. – verve; courage and aggressiveness; skill~~ ~~Movie Moxie – prp. n. – The Highball's boozy and offbeat live movie trivia game show!~~ Every Movie Moxie features two themed teams of contestants from Austin's film and cinephile community battling for mental dominance and your amusement. They'll face a variety of motion picture questions from host Maxim Pozderac [Scott Weinberg's Fantastic Feud, QRANK] before the alcohol-soaked final round where they must drink their answers. Fun will be had, egos will be inflated and/or crushed, obscure facts will be learned & quickly forgotten, and throughout the evening there will be prizes for select audience members who can prove their Movie Moxie™. For our first installment, we’ll draw a gender line in the sand as we pit men against women in their knowledge of defective romantic couples, the kind of chick flicks men actually enjoy, and whether or not anyone should care about the Bechdel test.
