Round Rock Area Arts Council says
“Empty Bowl” is an international effort to help end hunger through art, action, and awareness.

Round Rock Arts is a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual Round Rock Empty Bowl event.

The Empty Bowls model involves artists creating and donating ceramic bowls, then serving a meal at a community event. Guests choose a one-of-a-kind bowl to use and keep as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. In exchange for the meal and the bowl, guests contribute a suggested minimum donation. 100% of proceeds are devoted to local hunger-fighting organizations- in our case, the Round Rock Area Serving Center.

Where: Cedar Ridge High School
When: Saturday, April 11, 2015, 11 am – 2 pm
Suggested Donation: $10

All are invited to attend the Festival to choose from over 1000 handmade bowls, share a simple meal of soup and bread, enjoy local entertainment, and make a donation to support the Round Rock Serving Center.
