Join us this SATURDAY for our wonderful Special Edition of Noche de Tango Milonga! For the newbies, milonga is a term for a place or an event where tango is danced. People who regularly attend milongas are often called milongueros. At Esquina everyone is welcome, even if you are not a milonguero/ra yet! The grill will be on, and yummy choripanes will be available for everyone :) What is Choripán? Here we go: Choripán is a portmanteau of chorizo and pan – sausage and bread — but, of course, that’s not all there is to it. It was invented in Argentina, but similar sandwiches are every day eaten in Uruguay, Brazil, and Chile. Esquina provides snacks. Choripanes provided by the Austin Spring Tango Festival. BYOB :)
