SXSW Food & Wine lovers, You are invited to dine at the French Bistro pop-up inside the walls of the French Tech Club, France’s annual SXSW event. When: March 15 – 20, 2015, with lunch and dinner served daily Chefs Gérard Bossé and Rémi Fournier are bringing their restaurants from Angers, France to you. Each day they will shop at local markets and urban farms to prepare your meal using the best seasonal, organic produce from sustainable Austin purveyors. Dishes will be paired with natural French wines with limited availability in the U.S. The French Bistro will feature 3 pop-ups: Restaurant Une Île: Run by Michelin-starred Chef Gérard Bossé, one of the godfathers of the natural approach to cooking in France. Restaurant Chez Rémi: Run by Chef Rémi Fournier who has exported Angers food culture to Austin since 2013. Helping rewrite the rules of French bistro cuisine, Rémi Fournier’s dishes leave you musing “simple, but excellent”.
