The event creator says
Eddie Spettro colors outside the lines, playfully weaving the full spectrum of techno and house in response to the moment. His DJ sets are as selfless as they are versatile, and his productions can be heard around the globe. Get Physical took notice of the Houston resident in 2015, releasing originals Get Tropical, Vision Board and EP Fried Love. Closing out that same year, Audiophile Deep released EP El Castillo, followed by Spettro remix It Comes in Waves on Supremus Records in early 2016.

During the five years prior, Eddie released Hunab Ku/Peezy Hot on iconic Bush Records (2011) and EP Skibba on Uniform Recordings (2012); collaborated with Alex Clavijo for Xcaret (King Street Sounds), Escalofrio & Sweet 17 (Boo) and a spin on Carl Cox’s The Player (Bush); and remixed for Crosstown Rebels and Bedrock as Extended Play (2014). Other notable achievements include works licensed to Defected, OM, Renaissance (under moniker Green Thumb), MTV, and the hit television show Breaking Bad.

Rooted over two-decades-deep in the Texas underground, Spettro’s statewide following is even more extensive than his fifteen-year discography. His night La Pista hosted a bittersweet farewell for legendary Houston afterhours club Jet Lounge last March, but fans from all over still catch Eddie regularly at the Boulevardier, Leon’s Lounge, the annual Praia Urbana, or hosting his podcast, Spettro Radio.

Opening sets by VAGABOND resident Paul Bickford and Fisxh.
