Violence On The Border: Women’S Experience And The Policy Reaction

The seminar seeks to explore the perspectives and challenges unique to women who immigrate to the United States. More specifically, a series of workshops will delve into the violence affecting women during the process of migration, in U.S. detention centers, and in the workforce. The workshops will consist of panels including various subject experts and community organizers, who will facilitate a discussion with the attendees. Upon conclusion, the workshops will discuss policy options and propose recommendations.
