This event is free to attend. For information specific to this month's event, check the bottom half of the event info. Note that there are attendees beyond the ones signing up here, so please rest assured that we will have enough people to play. :D ---------------- Werewolves of the Dark Arts is a variant of the social party game 'Mafia'. A group of players is seated in a circle, and each person gets a card with an identity on it. You know who you are, but not who anyone else is. Your goal will vary and is either to eliminate the Werewolves, or stay alive / help the Werewolves stay alive until they can take the village by force. This is done through a 'day and night' cycle. During the day, everyone is equal, and the village will eliminate one person from their numbers. Following that, everyone closes their eyes and many of the special roles will act during the night, in turn, and do things such as kill one person, investigate, protect, etc. Werewolf/Mafia is a great social experience, a fun way to meet new people, and even to improve your social skills by better understanding how to read other people. It's a game of trust, deception, and communication. If you'd like to learn more about Werewolves of the Dark Arts, please visit http://werewolfdarkarts.com/ for more information on the game. This is recommended for those who are unfamiliar with the Mafia genre. (Feedback appreciated :3) To keep up with future events, they will be posted both on Meetup, and on http://facebook.com/werewolfdarkarts/ ---------------- For this event, we are being hosted by Whose Turn Is It Games. We meet up in the secondary gaming space, accessed from the main store. We will be the group using a circle of chairs. Please try and arrive as early as possible, but if you don't mind watching for a bit to join the next round, you can arrive at any point. Typical first games start at ~7:00, or at 7-9 people. An average night will have 4-6 games.
