Beer Jungle

The first law of trend journalism is that three examples are needed in order to define something as a trend. In Barcelona we already have two bars themed around the British African aesthetics. One is the ‘Obama’ bar, this bar is ok, but it has no terrace and we do not know why are we wasting time and space talking about this bar, when we should be telling you that in Gracia neighbourhood, there is the Beer Jungle bar. It looks like a hunters and Boer War veterans shelter, but only if they ate pizza and drank San Miguel beer, of course. Inside there is a magnificent patio with an eclectic decor and a palm that crosses the roof. The distribution of Barcelona buildings rarely allows us to have brewers’ patios like this one.
