Stories on a Winter's Night

Contes i Cuentos, who have been in the storytelling business since 1997, bring their series 'Altres Veus' ('Other Voices') to the stage and present a session in English of storytelling for grown-ups. It's cold and windy, and Christmas is just around the corner, so take shelter in the Harlem Jazz Club, snuggle up with a nice cuppa something a bit stronger, and enjoy long-told traditional tales from Ireland and the British Isles. Two vibrant and dynamic storytellers, Lisa Coleman (Ireland) and Sophie Heydel (UK), will take you across the seas and over lands, by lakesides and through forests, meeting a medley of delightful characters along the way.
