Slug

Slug is the new venture from Ian Black, an individual who has been on the North East music circuit for over a decade and whose recent outing was spurred on after playing with Sunderland band Field Music.

Slug's debut album 'Ripe' takes influences from everywhere, including move soundtracks, Led Zep-era rock, the funk of Prince and Funkadelic, abstract and minimalist sounds of the twentieth century, among many others.
