Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre says
The 41st ANZICS/ACCCN Intensive Care Annual Scientific Meeting will be the pre-eminent critical care conference in Australasia for the calendar year and will be an important platform that will allow doctors, nurses and allied health practitioners to meaningfully connect and discuss new developments and research in the field of intensive and critical care.

The scientific programme will feature sessions around the ASM’s theme of “Where to from here?”, and we have already secured an attractive line-up of keynote speakers, including Dr Sam D. Shemie of the Montreal Children’s Hospital (Canada), Prof. Anne-Sylvie Ramelet of the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), Prof. Stijn Blot of Ghent University (Belgium) and a highlight inspirational speaker, Ric Charlesworth, the former Captain of the Australian Hockey Team.

We have introduced new opportunities for industry partners to engage with attendees and bring their expertise to bear through enabling hands-on learning experiences at the pre-meeting workshops, aligning with best practices in the live-skills transfer sessions and dedicated educational symposia.

The ASM social program will allow delegates to network and unwind after a day of educational sessions. The social highlight of the ASM, the Gala Dinner, will be held in the BelleVue Ballroom at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre with views over the new Elizabeth Quay precinct. Other events include the Welcome Reception, held at PCEC and the Paediatric Function at Bob's Bar on Thursday 20 October and Friday Night Party at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel on Friday 21st October 2016.

We sincerely hope you can join this exciting meeting and we look forward to delivering a memorable and valuable experience in Perth, 2016.
