Adored by listeners from all corners of the internet and festival goers alike for his energised sound and sets, Kilter is the moniker for 24 year old Sydney rising star Ned East. Having amassed 35 million streams online, multiple visits to the Top of Hype Machine charts and triumphed in the triple j Like A Version studio. Kilter is pleased to announce his highly anticipated debut album Through The Distortion out June 9 via etcetc and announces a live national tour presented by triple j and NANA JUDY with Brisbane beatmaker Feki and Melbourne synth-pop duo ALTA on support duties.

In past years, Kilter has transformed from a young, aspiring producer to a multi-instrumental electronic-lord with a collective audience from all corners of the globe. With recent singles “They Don’t Know Us” and “Count On Me” received rotation on triple j, nods from Rolling Stone, as well as millions of streams online & being selected by the heavy hitters of the game like ODESZA, Mø, Duke Dumont, Rufus, Hermitude and London Grammar to remix their singles.

Having quickly developed a reputation as a gun producer in the studio, Kilter is known across Australia as an accomplished live performer too. Flanked by electronic drums and synth-gear galore, Kilter’s live set delivers on the promise of an actual, well, live performance with limbs flying fast between keys, sample pads, drumstick duties, featuring a guitarist and guest performances. Last year Kilter maintained a manic touring schedule, hitting the UK and European festival season before returning home for a string of national headline shows and festival appearances at Falls Festival, Southbound and Bay Dreams. Kilter is currently in the US on his first ever North American headline tour before he returns home for his national run of Album shows.
