Sea Shepherd Perth, along with Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign Australia and Plastic Free July invite you to come along to our movie screening event on Friday the 8th July at the The Grove Library Community Learning Centre in Peppermint Grove.

Marina Hansen, one of Sea Shepherd's Marine Debris Campaign Coordinators will MC the evening and give a small talk about the Marine Debris Campaign and its success since officially launching. Rebecca Prince-Ruiz, founder of Plastic Free July, will give a talk about her recent travels overseas and all things plastics. The movie we will be screening for the evening is Plastic Paradise – The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Winner of 12 International awards, Plastic Paradise follows journalist and filmmaker, Angela Sun on a journey of discovery to uncover the mysterious phenomenon that is The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. This is a documentary you do not want to miss.
