Become a trash hero and help clean up Patong Beach

Trash Hero is a volunteer-led movement that two bright sparks from Switzerland started in Koh Lipe in 2013. Now, it has since spread to many other parts of Thailand, Indonesia and countless other countries. Piles of plastic, flip-flops, cigarette butts and whatnot have, although reduced in recent years, still make up the majority of trash left on Phuket’s otherwise beautiful beaches. Save the moans and instead, become a trash hero yourself, by meeting up with like-minded folks at the Patong Beach sign and getting to work. Don’t fancy glowing in the sweltering heat? No sweat. The guys clean only when the late afternoon sun drizzles over Patong Beach like honey. Sweet.
