Catch Riaz Dhanani at BOA

British DJ-producer Riaz Dhanani starts a track with a kick, hi-hat and clap, then searches his loop packs until the parts gel – a process he described in an Ableton interview. He can audition loops for ages, but Friday at BOA Club Phuket is where the studio graft pays off. The event listing credits him with three Beatport No. 1s, while his releases include Defected, VIVa Limited and Audio Rehab. His earlier artist biography lists regular appearances at Sankeys and Ministry of Sound, plus a residency at Amsterdam warehouse party Binnin Plaats. Rally your mates for his deep tech and energetic tech-house.
