Tatler Off-Menu does exactly what it says – chefs step outside their restaurant menus to create one-off dishes just for the night. It’s the brand’s flagship community event, bringing together names from Michelin-linked kitchens across Thailand, including Blue Elephant, KHAAN, L’Elephant Chiang Mai, The White House and L'Arôme by the Sea. What’s on the plate is anyone’s guess: think anything from red ant eggs with mascarpone and Thai herbs to eggplant pizzas topped with sun-dried tomatoes and ricotta. The ‘Soil to Soul’ theme runs quietly through it all, while live cooking stations let you hover, watch and inevitably linger. Or head straight for the free-flow wine between 6pm-7pm. Either way, come hungry.
