Welcome Via Seri to Phuket at Boa X Banjuka

Given her Azzurri-leaning stage name, you’d be forgiven for thinking DJ-producer Via Seri is Italian – but Sylvia Edionseri hails from the UK. That doesn’t take away from the flair. Specialising in afro-house, afro-tech and the slower, log drum-led pull of amapiano, she’s been making serious waves in the scene. Drawing on what she calls the ‘piano’ world – soul-filling, deep and spiritual – the devoted selector has already played London’s Ministry of Sound, Ibiza and South Africa. Phuket is new territory. Expect an electric welcome at Banjuka, the immersive music series, and a set full of soulful synths, percussive baselines and all things ‘necesseri.’
