ISL4M, a Dubai-born graffiti artist, found his passion for street art in his early teens, inspired by the raw energy of hip-hop culture. His first canvases were the walls behind his family home, where he painted bold Arabic letters that carried rhythm and movement. Over time, his art evolved - driven by curiosity, practice, and imagination - shifting from letters to powerful stories that reflect his deep respect for women.
This year’s new mural, “Grace in Motion,” takes pride of place at the Stage area inside Time Out Market Dubai. A falcon in flight carrying a flower captures the eye, an image where strength and softness collide. The falcon, an enduring Emirati symbol of pride and power, contrasts with the delicate flower, representing beauty, care, and renewal. Together, they tell a story of balance, resilience, and modern cultural identity.
And don’t miss ISL4M’s earlier work at the Emirati Corner: through his brush and spray, traditionally dressed Emirati women surround the space, their flowing dresses and headscarves portrayed with grace and strength. They are more than figures; they embody resilience, tradition, and the rich cultural tapestry of the UAE. Each line and layer pays tribute to the women who shape community, family, and heritage, offering a vision that is both personal and universal.
For ISL4M, the Market is more than just a venue, it is the right stage for his voice. “Time Out Market Dubai is a place for people who want to discover culture, food, and art. Every artist wants to find the right spot for their art to be recognized, and I feel this is mine,” he says. His work transforms the Market’s walls into a conversation between past and present, reminding visitors that art is not only an act of expression but also a bridge to identity, belonging, and recognition.
