The original Cape Town Italian deli is crammed with mouthwatering food and deli products from floor to ceiling. A cheese and meat counter does a roaring trade with patrons needing their fix of parma and parmigiano, there's also a cooked food section that's popular with the can't-cook-won't-cook brigade, while the pantry shelves are laden with tempting baked and imported speciality goods. Plenty of pre-packed heat-and-eat meals as well as salad goodies for impromptu picnics and, of course, a buzzing espresso bar.
